Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work Pyrame and Thisbe in a wooded landscape with classsical ruins by Antoine-Pierre Patel. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Antoine-Pierre Patel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work An Italianate landscape with classical ruins and figures conversing by a bridge was auctioned for USD 19,120.00 (€ 19,399.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pyrame and Thisbe in a wooded landscape with classsical ruins von Antoine-Pierre Patel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Antoine-Pierre Patel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2002 die Arbeit An Italianate landscape with classical ruins and figures conversing by a bridge für USD 19.120,00 (€ 19.399,35) versteigert.
