The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,000.00 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Marussig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Donna con borsetta in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 27,720.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Natura morta von Piero Marussig wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art | Silver and Decorative Objects bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.000,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Marussig erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Donna con borsetta im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.720,00.
