Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Piero Marussig could be acquired at Il Ponte in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Scalinata in un giardino changed hands for EUR 2,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,200.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Marussig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Donna con borsetta in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 27,720.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Piero Marussig konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Scalinata in un giardino für EUR 2.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.200,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Marussig erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Donna con borsetta im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.720,00.
