In the Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection auction, the work Natura morta con pane e limoni sold for EUR 8,820.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Piero Marussig - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Donna con borsetta, which sold at auction in May 2021 for EUR 27,720.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Piero Marussig erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection wurde die Arbeit Natura morta con pane e limoni für EUR 8.820,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Piero Marussig mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Donna con borsetta beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für EUR 27.720,00 versteigert wurde.
