The work Achrome by Piero Manzoni was sold in the Contemporary Art | Milan auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 289,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Manzoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Achrome in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 12,626,500.00 (€ 16,122,216.56).

Die Arbeit Achrome von Piero Manzoni wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 289.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Manzoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Achrome im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.626.500,00 (€ 16.122.216,56).
