Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Achrome by Piero Manzoni for EUR 75,600.00. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Manzoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Achrome in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 12,626,500.00 (€ 16,122,216.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Achrome von Piero Manzoni für EUR 75.600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Manzoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Achrome im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.626.500,00 (€ 16.122.216,56).
