Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mykonos, 1957 by Piergiorgio Branzi was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,417.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Piergiorgio Branzi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work Adriatico was auctioned for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,296.56).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.417,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
