Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Parigi, Muro nero con gatto (Paris, black wall with cat), 1954 by Piergiorgio Branzi for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,191.19). This price was achieved in the auction Masterworks of Italian Photography 1945-1975 From the Collection of Paolo Morello at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Piergiorgio Branzi have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2010 by the work Adriatico at GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,296.56).

Im Juni 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Parigi, Muro nero con gatto (Paris, black wall with cat), 1954 von Piergiorgio Branzi für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.191,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Masterworks of Italian Photography 1945-1975 From the Collection of Paolo Morello bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Piergiorgio Branzi wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2010 die Arbeit Adriatico mit GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.296,56).
