Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2017 Christies in London held the auction The Astor Collection from Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire, which included the work Ptarmigan; Blackgame, Balnasboth; Pheasant in a clearing; Blackgame in flight; and Ptarmigan, Balnasboth by Philip Rickman. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,828.70). Other works by Philip Rickman have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,813.38) in December 2017 for the work Landscape studies: A covey of grouse above moorland, Eskhill; A capercaillie in flight among pines, Montreithment Moor; Blackgame in a landscape, between Forfar and Blhy; Pheasant in clearing.

Im Dezember 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Astor Collection from Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ptarmigan; Blackgame, Balnasboth; Pheasant in a clearing; Blackgame in flight; and Ptarmigan, Balnasboth von Philip Rickman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.828,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Philip Rickman haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.813,38) im Dezember 2017 für die Arbeit Landscape studies: A covey of grouse above moorland, Eskhill; A capercaillie in flight among pines, Montreithment Moor; Blackgame in a landscape, between Forfar and Blhy; Pheasant in clearing beobachtet.
