The work Wind and Variation by Phil Dike was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The price achieved of USD 8,960.00 (€ 8,266.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Phil Dike have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November last year the work White's Point, Biltmore (San Pedro) was auctioned for USD 11,475.00 (€ 11,115.95).
