Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Feuille Medicinale / Bush Medecine Leaf, 2010 by Gloria Tamerre Petyarre was sold in the Australian Aboriginal Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,200.00 – 2,800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,295.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gloria Tamerre Petyarre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arnherrthe #8, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,736.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Feuille Medicinale / Bush Medecine Leaf, 2010 von Gloria Tamerre Petyarre wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Australian Aboriginal Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.200,00 – 2.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.295,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
