Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Gloria Tamerre Petyarre was sold in the CONTEMPORARY ART auction at Christies in Sydney in August 2001. The price achieved of AUD 1,292.50 (€ 750.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gloria Tamerre Petyarre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arnherrthe #8 in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,736.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gloria Tamerre Petyarre wurde im August 2001 in der Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART bei Christies in Sydney versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 1.292,50 (€ 750,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gloria Tamerre Petyarre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Arnherrthe #8 im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.736,56).
