Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Petr Ivanovich Petrovichev achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in December 2021. In the The Russian Sale auction, the work 'The town of Ples' sold for GBP 16,500.00 (€ 19,681.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Petr Ivanovich Petrovichev; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Waiting For The Ferry sold at auction in June 2014 with the realized price of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 39,045.38).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Petr Ivanovich Petrovichev erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
