In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work House In The Woods by Petr Ivanovich Petrovichev. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,859.14) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Petr Ivanovich Petrovichev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waiting For The Ferry, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 39,045.38).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit House In The Woods von Petr Ivanovich Petrovichev zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.859,14) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Petr Ivanovich Petrovichev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waiting For The Ferry beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 39.045,38) versteigert wurde.
