In December 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th Century Art, which included the work Zilver-Wit-Zwart by Peter Struycken. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,800.00 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Peter Struycken have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zilver-Wit-Zwart von Peter Struycken zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.800,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Struycken auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.250,00.
