Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2005 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Peter Struycken for EUR 240.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Struycken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2005 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Struycken für EUR 240,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Struycken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.250,00.
