Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Peter Struycken achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2010. In the THE BAT ARTVENTURE COLLECTION formerly known as THE PETER STUYVESANT COLLECTION auction, the work Dutch Structuur Viii sold for EUR 13,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Struycken - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Structuur Ii (Structure Ii), which sold at auction in May 2019 for EUR 31,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Struycken erzielte im März 2010 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion THE BAT ARTVENTURE COLLECTION formerly known as THE PETER STUYVESANT COLLECTION wurde die Arbeit Dutch Structuur Viii für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Struycken mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für EUR 31.250,00 versteigert wurde.
