However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Snijers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A jug, a cabbage and carrots on a ledge; and Artichokes, apples and melons on a ledge, which sold at auction in October 2021 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 81,154.78).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 34.350,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
