The work A Vegetable Still Life In An Interior With A Red Cabbage, Together With Cauliflower, Beetroot And Onions In A Wicker Basket by Peter Snijers was sold in the The Weldon Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,037.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Peter Snijers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A jug, a cabbage and carrots on a ledge; and Artichokes, apples and melons on a ledge in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 81,154.78).
