Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Peter Schuyff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in July last year. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Mickey sold for EUR 40,320.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter Schuyff; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in July 2017 with the realized price of USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,564.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Schuyff erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Mickey für EUR 40.320,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Peter Schuyff; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.564,69).
