A top price for Peter Murer - as previously expected
In July 2017 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Saint Simon; The Coronation of the Virgin; and Saint Jude by Peter Murer. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,792.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Saint Simon; The Coronation of the Virgin; and Saint Jude is the most expensive artwork by Peter Murer that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint Simon; The Coronation of the Virgin; and Saint Jude von Peter Murer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.792,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Saint Simon; The Coronation of the Virgin; and Saint Jude das teuerste Kunstwerk von Peter Murer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
