Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Coronation of the Virgin by Peter Murer was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Christies in London in December 2016. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,843.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Peter Murer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2017 the work Saint Simon; The Coronation of the Virgin; and Saint Jude was auctioned for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,792.32).
