Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Peter Meller could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation auction, the work Imaginazione (Imagination) changed hands for USD 280.50 (€ 261.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Peter Meller have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May last year by the work Apollo and Muse at USD 357.00 (€ 332.68).
