Auction result fails to reach estimate
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work The Danish King Christian IV at Frederiksborg Castle by Peter Kornbeck for DKK 3,800.00 (€ 509.66). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 8,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Kornbeck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Parti af Tempeløen Philæ i Nubien” in October this year with an auction result of DKK 42,000.00 (€ 5,627.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Danish King Christian IV at Frederiksborg Castle von Peter Kornbeck für DKK 3.800,00 (€ 509,66) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Kornbeck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Parti af Tempeløen Philæ i Nubien” im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 42.000,00 (€ 5.627,55).
