Auction result fails to reach estimate
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Seascape from Mommark with a sailing ship off the coast by Peter Hansen for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.23). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Hansen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Bolsjeboden” in April this year with an auction result of DKK 21,000.00 (€ 2,817.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seascape from Mommark with a sailing ship off the coast von Peter Hansen für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Hansen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Bolsjeboden” im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 21.000,00 (€ 2.817,12).
