Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2000 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Abstract Composition with Circles by Peter Haigh. The price achieved of GBP 235.00 (€ 393.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Haigh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 13-'89-April in March this year with an auction result of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,901.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract Composition with Circles von Peter Haigh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 235,00 (€ 393,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Haigh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 13-'89-April im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.901,12).
