Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Grigori" by Peter Freudenthal was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 2,342.04). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Freudenthal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Conversations", which sold at auction in April 2013 for SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,918.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Grigori" von Peter Freudenthal im April 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 2.342,04) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Freudenthal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Conversations" beobachtet, die im April 2013 für SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.918,29) versteigert wurde.
