The work "Square by night" by Peter Freudenthal was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year. It achieved a price of SEK 19,000.00 (€ 1,738.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Freudenthal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Conversations", which sold at auction in April 2013 for SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,918.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Square by night" von Peter Freudenthal kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 19.000,00 (€ 1.738,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Freudenthal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Conversations" beobachtet, die im April 2013 für SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.918,29) versteigert wurde.
