A top price for Peter Fend - as previously expected
In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction TO LIVE WITH ART: Property from the Jerome & Ellen Stern Collection, which included the work Global Warming by Peter Fend. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,116.88) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Global Warming is the most expensive artwork by Peter Fend that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion TO LIVE WITH ART: Property from the Jerome & Ellen Stern Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Global Warming von Peter Fend zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.116,88) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Global Warming das teuerste Kunstwerk von Peter Fend, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
