Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2001 Christies in New York held the auction Sporting Art, which included the work Going Out At The Bumper by Peter Curling. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,050.00 (€ 8,319.57). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Curling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Scarteen Point-To-Point, Kilfeacle in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 66,000.00 (€ 96,338.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Sporting Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Going Out At The Bumper von Peter Curling zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.050,00 (€ 8.319,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Curling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Scarteen Point-To-Point, Kilfeacle im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 66.000,00 (€ 96.338,50).
