Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Frozen Fields in Winter, Higham, Essex by Peter Coker. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 705.00 (€ 1,021.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Coker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Promenade, Etretat in March 2000 with an auction result of GBP 8,280.00 (€ 13,770.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Frozen Fields in Winter, Higham, Essex von Peter Coker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 705,00 (€ 1.021,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Coker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Promenade, Etretat im März 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.280,00 (€ 13.770,02).
