A top price for Peter Clarke - as previously expected
The work South African untitled (Girl With Sunflower) by Peter Clarke was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2018. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,915.37) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, South African untitled (Girl With Sunflower) is the most expensive artwork by Peter Clarke that we have observed at auctions so far.
