Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two nude studies of Valerie Hobson (one illustrated) by Pericle Fazzini was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in April 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 703.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pericle Fazzini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homme assise in September 2002 with an auction result of USD 10,157.50 (€ 10,281.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two nude studies of Valerie Hobson (one illustrated) von Pericle Fazzini wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 703,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pericle Fazzini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homme assise im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.157,50 (€ 10.281,91).
