In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work American Master'S Sons by Percival Leonard Rosseau for USD 68,500.00 (€ 49,213.31). This price was achieved in the auction The Sporting Sale: Equestrian, Wildlife & Maritime Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house.
