Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life, Stocks by Percy Leason was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2005. The price achieved of AUD 1,015.75 (€ 615.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Percy Leason have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nude, 1913 in April this year with an auction result of AUD 4,674.00 (€ 2,801.44).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 1.015,75 (€ 615,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
