A top price for Pepi Merisio - as previously expected
In May 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction The Discerning Eye: Property from the Collection of Eric Franck, Part I, which included the work 'Fienagione A Cogne, Aosta', 1959 by Pepi Merisio. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,871.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 'Fienagione A Cogne, Aosta', 1959 is the most expensive artwork by Pepi Merisio that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Discerning Eye: Property from the Collection of Eric Franck, Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Fienagione A Cogne, Aosta', 1959 von Pepi Merisio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.871,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist 'Fienagione A Cogne, Aosta', 1959 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pepi Merisio, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
