Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Ink Plum Blossoms by Peng Yulin for HKD 10,000.00 (€ 1,065.91). This price was achieved in the auction Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Yulin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plum Blossoms in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,674.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ink Plum Blossoms von Peng Yulin für HKD 10.000,00 (€ 1.065,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Yulin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plum Blossoms im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.674,45).
