This artwork by Peng Yulin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2013. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal auction, the work Album Of Letters sold for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,623.57) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peng Yulin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Plum Blossoms, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,674.45).

Für andere Arbeiten von Peng Yulin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Plum Blossoms beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.674,45) versteigert wurde.
