Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man And A Horse by Peng Xiancheng was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,647.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Xiancheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Play Polo in April this year with an auction result of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 98,034.78).

Die Arbeit Man And A Horse von Peng Xiancheng kam im April 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.647,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Xiancheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Play Polo im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 98.034,78).
