Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Demoiselles In An Outing 1(Painted In 2016) by Peng Xiancheng was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in October this year. It achieved a price of HKD 360,000.00 (€ 43,535.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peng Xiancheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Play Polo, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 96,000.00 (€ 98,034.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Demoiselles In An Outing 1(Painted In 2016) von Peng Xiancheng wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 360.000,00 (€ 43.535,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Peng Xiancheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Play Polo beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 96.000,00 (€ 98.034,78) versteigert wurde.
