In the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings auction, the work Lady Guoguo On A Spring Outing sold for HKD 195,500.00 (€ 18,182.77) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peng Xiancheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Play Polo in April this year with an auction result of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 98,034.78).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Peng Xiancheng erzielte im April 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lady Guoguo On A Spring Outing für HKD 195.500,00 (€ 18.182,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Xiancheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Play Polo im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 98.034,78).
