A top price for Peng Si - as previously expected
The work Off Shore Laments By Wintery River by Peng Si was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 1,062,000.00 (€ 98,772.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 900,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Off Shore Laments By Wintery River is the most expensive artwork by Peng Si that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Off Shore Laments By Wintery River von Peng Si kam im April 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.062.000,00 (€ 98.772,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 900.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Off Shore Laments By Wintery River das teuerste Kunstwerk von Peng Si, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
