Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Wasting of Treasured Youth by Peng Si. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 11,028.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peng Si have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Off Shore Laments By Wintery River in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,000.00 (€ 98,772.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wasting of Treasured Youth von Peng Si zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 11.028,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Si auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Off Shore Laments By Wintery River im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.000,00 (€ 98.772,89).
