Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trekking In The Forest by Peng Chunshi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,844.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peng Chunshi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fourteen Pine Trees in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,489.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trekking In The Forest von Peng Chunshi kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.844,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Chunshi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fourteen Pine Trees im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.489,28).
