Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Trees by Peng Chunshi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,740.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peng Chunshi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fourteen Pine Trees in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,489.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Trees von Peng Chunshi kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.740,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Chunshi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fourteen Pine Trees im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.489,28).
