A top price for Paw Oo Thet
This artwork by Paw Oo Thet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in May last year. In the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Pagan sold for HKD 318,000.00 (€ 37,753.42) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. This high result makes Pagan the most expensive artwork by Paw Oo Thet that we have observed at auctions so far.
