Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art and Paintings, which included the work Two Russian Beauties by Pavel Dmitrievich Shmarov. The price achieved of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 34,306.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Pavel Dmitrievich Shmarov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Bather, 1928 was auctioned for GBP 40,800.00 (€ 60,545.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Art and Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Russian Beauties von Pavel Dmitrievich Shmarov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 34.306,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Pavel Dmitrievich Shmarov konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Bather, 1928 für GBP 40.800,00 (€ 60.545,15) versteigert.
