When the work Landscape with cattle and a woman cleaning a bucket by a stream by Paulus Potter was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,582,500.00 (€ 1,767,793.54).
