Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Bonhams held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work An Elegant Couple Promenading On A Wooded Avenue by Paulus Constantijn la Fargue. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,812.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paulus Constantijn la Fargue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Hague, A View Of The Binnenhof Looking North With The Ridderzaal; The Hague, A View Of The Groenmarkt Near The Westeinde Looking West in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 82,850.00 (€ 95,082.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Bonhams die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Elegant Couple Promenading On A Wooded Avenue von Paulus Constantijn la Fargue zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.812,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paulus Constantijn la Fargue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Hague, A View Of The Binnenhof Looking North With The Ridderzaal; The Hague, A View Of The Groenmarkt Near The Westeinde Looking West im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 82.850,00 (€ 95.082,77).
