Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work A VIEW OF MORSPOORT, LEIDEN; A VIEW OF MAREPOORT, LEIDEN by Paulus Constantijn la Fargue for EUR 18,900.00. This price was achieved in the auction Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900 at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Paulus Constantijn la Fargue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hague, A View Of The Binnenhof Looking North With The Ridderzaal; The Hague, A View Of The Groenmarkt Near The Westeinde Looking West in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 82,850.00 (€ 95,082.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A VIEW OF MORSPOORT, LEIDEN; A VIEW OF MAREPOORT, LEIDEN von Paulus Constantijn la Fargue für EUR 18.900,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900 bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00.
